Well I have been sick with strep throat since Monday and I had it bad!

Horrible fever! Yuck! anyway my mom called me today and told me I should read this

I have really been struggling with Emma and her spirit. I love her to death but sometimes she is mean and she will not listen to me!

It wears me out to deal with her and repeat and repeat and repeat things to her.

Here I sit at work again and I have hundreds of thoughts running through my head.

Last night I put in the hard core work out DVD Dr. Harzke's burned me like two years ago! I thought well I'm not getting up real early if it's so hard I can't do it! So we (Lance, kids,and I) watched 35 minutes of a work out dvd. A ways into it Lance said I'm tired of watching this!haha I have got to do something. Truly it's not too too hard it's just making myself do it! So maybe the goal will be to do the video at least 3 times a week! I have been eating better (some what):)

I am also working on Easton's birthday! and I have so many thing to do and that I want to do. Will I get them all done!?

I found the cutest little dump trucks at Michael's to give as favors but they only had four! So I have called Odessa and Abilene and they both said they don't have them! and I have to decide on a cake or cupcakes! What a decision!

I also have a burlap project for the door I want to work on. I need to take Easton's birthday pictures! I have some real cute ideas for the pictures! I am thankful for all the rain we got but I sure need the field to dry up.

Tomorrow I think Mel and me might take the girls to see Beauty and the Beast! I am so excited to see Emma at the BIG movies! I really think she will enjoy it!

O and one more thing have you seen the New Green form Jon Hart!?

Saturday was Kaci's baby shower . It was so sweet and the girls did such a good job on all the decorations. I hate that all my time is spent at work and I can't make cute things all the time.

Thursday Easton started running a high fever so Lance took him to the doctor Friday. He has a double ear infection! Bless his heart. We got him some medicine and he has been on the road to recovery.

Friday night we had some dear friends come over to talk to Lance about building them a barn and to visit of coarse. The kids had a fun time eentertaining them~

even though Easton has a fever he is still fairly happy!

other then being scared for his life! haha

We had a great visit with John and Judy and after they left I couldn't stop thinking that one of my dearest friends would be moving out of town. At least it's near Canton but still. Judy would defiantly be one of my balcony people that has helped me on through the years. I have always treasured her wisdom and Godly advise. After they left I finished a little project for my friend Kaci's baby shower.

So, Easton pretty much puts his self to sleep, so Emma and I have been watching one of my favorite t.v.shows of ALL TIME!

Yes that's right!

Sometimes, Emma says I don't want to watch this. I tell her yes this is the best show on t.v. right now and it's Mommy's favorite and she says it's my favorite too.

When she sees the girls she always says that girls like me. So sweet!

I hope she will enjoy watching and learning from the Engle girls as much as I did and still do today!

Emma got the sweetest little note from Ms. Madison yesterday!

It made me feel better about our situation with the grumpiness that has been going on.

at least I know she is helpful and sweet at school (she is at home too! but Sometimes NOT)

I am so glad Ms. Madison is her teacher I had her in the youth class at GMBC years ago! She was the sweetest girl ever! I hope some of that rubs off on the kids in her class!

So I was under the weather Friday so I stayed home, and I had a ton of things I was going to do after work Friday afternoon. Instead I stayed in bed for all of Friday and most of Saturday. I have all these things running through my head and I'm sitting here at work with no doctor because Dr. Cubine's brother in law passed away this weekend. First of coarse I still need to finalize things for Easton's party.

I need to reorganize his closet and pack up the itty bitty clothes still hanging in his closet.

and I also need to figure out how to register and tag items for the JBF sale. I have some really nice stuff mostly girl stuff from 0-2years. It would be so simple if someone would come through and buy some for this before I have to tag all of it!haha

and there a few people in the hospital that I wanted to visit but sure didn't want to spread my germs. O! and I was bit on the foot by a scorpion last night and it hurt so bad!! I started sweating and felt nauseated! Some might say it was the poison coming out!haha I was just so thankful the kids didn't get bit!! Lance is spraying for bugs today.

For months now we have been dealing with a child that is very moody and dealing with some major melt downs. She is super sweet some days and either way we love her to pieces but we can't figure out why she is acting this way. Some say it is a phase or her personality but it really really bothers me and makes me worry about my baby girl.

A lot of the time I feel like she is tired, we get up about 6:15 and she blows and goes all day until we get home and by then she is running out of steam but doesn't want to miss anything which leads to melt downs.

So I am getting ride of most the candy we have and replacing it with yogurt, string cheese, pretzels and other healthier snacks. I even bought her some BOOST chocolate mile to help fill her up. Maybe if she gets OFF the sugar it will help!

I'm grabbing for anything at this point.

Cookie came to see us this last weekend. We hadn't seen her since March!!!! It had been way to long! I didn't realize how much I missed my sister until she got here and we started visiting. I love seeing my babies play and love on their Aunt Cookie. I hope we never let time get away from us again.

Yesterday we got sad news. Mr. Harry a pastor, counselor, and friend went to be with the Lord. We are sad for our earthly loss, but we are rejoicing in heavenly gain.

Mr. Harry baptised my parents, counseled and married Lance and me and dedicated Emma Grace.

Emma and I made a few treats this week. We made some cookies just for us to eat at the house this week. And last night we made peppermint salt/sugar scrub for all the teachers at school.

So, I had my heart set on Santa giving Easton a rocking horse that makes noise from Sam's. I never dreamed they would sell out before Christmas! We went right to Emma's trampoline and now on our way to the isle where the other toys are..wow they have really sold a bunch of stuff and already marked a lot down! we looked everywhere NO ROCKING HORSE!!!!!!

I asked the girl if she knew if they had anymore, she said nope they are all gone! Tears welled up in my eyes!!! I asked Lance now what are we going to get Easton? This was perfect for him and I know he would go to town on that horse! Lance said we will look other places surely somewhere in this town has a talking/running rocking horse. We went to Target, and Academy-Nothing! It was like 10:30 Friday night we were both so tired, but we decided to look at one more place-the other Wal Mart. Lance is a snob and doesn't really like the other Wal Mart, and I really like that one better. Anyway we run to the toys and look all over every shelf. I ran upon a cart with trash and some broken toys. There happened to be one of these~

Broke of coarse(it was just the body with metal rods poking out of his body- no rocking piece but he did talk ok). We go all over the store trying to find another one. He is no where!!! Lance found a manager and asked if he could buy him broke(because Lance can fix anything) Lance said I can fix this better then it would have been new. The manager said sure just give us five bucks! So we end up at the customer service to buy the broke bullseye.

The girl at the desk says we have some of these. She took us right to them and only ONE bullseye left!

We took him home and he is ours now! So we laid the broke bullseye to rest~

The "other" Wal Mart is the better one!

Friday Lance and I had a anniversary/birthday dinner date and tried to finish up the Christmas shopping!

we ate supper at the Warf and then went all over town finishing up our shopping. Then the rest of the weekend we just hung out and got some rest.

Sunday was our church Christmas play. The kids are so sweet and it's so nice to see the same kids year after year and how much they have grown since last years plays.

Then we had a surprise visit!!!!!!

Emma has really surprised us with turning on her charm when it comes to Santa!

I love this one!

Christmas is right around the corner! I have several things I need to finish up! Like make all the teachers their goodies form the kids, make our traditional Christmas cookies and gingerbread house. WRAP WRAP AND WRAP some more!!!! and I'm sure I and forgetting a thing or two.

Only the Lord could have paired such opposite people together so well! We've only been married four years but it seems like forever. We had such a busy weekend! Friday mother and I headed to Abilene for a nice day of shopping! Sometimes we need time with just us without kids! Saturday we had pancakes and hug out at the house until it was time to go to the Halfmann Christmas and then to Western Sky's for some yummy stake-with my parents and other friends. Sunday we had a skate birthday party and then we rode the trolley through the Christmas lights down town! It was great fun!

I have some really cute pictures but no time to post right now.

What makes this time of year so great is spending time with our families making memories!

My precious sweet sweet boy will be 10 months TOMORROW!!!! He is getting to be such a bog boy. We love him so so much and can't imagine what is was like without him around! He has the sweetest spirit he is gentle and kind and sooo lovable!

and here is Miss Emma Grace. She turned three in November and thinks she KNOWS it all, and really doesn't need her Mommy and Daddy anymore! She has been going to gymnastics and loving it. She has moved into a new class at school and her teacher is a girl I had in the youth at GMBC! She is learning so much and doing really well with her colors, letters and numbers!

Then Sunday we played soft ball and I am very rusty!!!!! I need some major practice!!!

Two Months

today was Easton's two month check up

it went great he weights10 pounds 13 ounces

and he is 21.75 inches long

Dr. P said that is great and to keep doing what we are doing.

he did cry a lot when he got his three shots! I guess because he doesn't cry much is made it worse on me he was mad!!! and turned red!

yall I know I was worried about loving two babies....

but let me tell you I love him sooooo much!

Friday Emma Grace had her first salon haircut. She did so good!

And it was a good time for jut us girls to do something.

Emma Grace acts so big and she definitely thinks she's big(older then 2) so Lance and I have to remind ourselves that she is only two and we have had some major changes in our family the last six weeks so when she cries and throws a fit it is normal at this point. Sometimes I think we expect her to act a lot older then she is and know how she is suppose to act...when really she is just learning.

First off I have to thank Aunt Cookie for fixing my blog! All week I couldn't get my post to show up only the pictures showed up..

anyway last weekend Scott and Aunt Cookie had a wedding her in town so we were able to visit with them and while they were busy with other things we just hung out and had fun outside

then took a nap once we settled down

Our sweet boy is six weeks old today....the time has gone so fast!

You are so sweet Easton. You are sleeping pretty good at night and we are getting in a routine. You are on formula now and thank goodness it has agreed with your tummy. You seem to enjoy being outside and looking around-this is good because we stay outside a lot.

Mommy, Daddy and sister love you so much!

Tool Store

Monday Harber Freight had a super sale(according to Lance) so he and Emma had to go! She came in after school and told me she and daddy were going to the "tool store". She even had her overalls on!-Just b/c she tried to potty at school on her own and got her jeans wet...o well good try!

Saturday night Emma and I did our toes. This was the first time we did Emma's, she thought she was so big!

How does time go by so fast?

Easton was one month old yesterday! He is still laid back for the most part.

He likes to eat all the time! and sleeps pretty good but does have a time in the night and the day that he fights going back to sleep.

we love him so much!

Emma even let him sit on the tractor after her ride last night!

Emma wanted Bubbie to lay in her bed last night. She is doing fairly well in her bed, night before last she stayed in her bed all night!

Last night she went to sleep on her own but woke up at about 2 and wanted Daddy to lay with her.

Emma is so proud of her Bubbie. He has been so laid back and so good...today I guess he hit his two week growth spurt. He has been a bit fussy and can't get enough to eat. Dr. P said he is over eating a little so try to give him sugar water but I haven't yet. He went from 7 pounds 4 oz to 6 pounds 12 oz back to 7 pounds 14 oz at his app on Tues. I am so happy he hasn't had any tummy problems like big sister did!

After we rested Sunday morning we went out to the fair grounds to see all the animals!
We can't wait until Emma is old enough to show animals.....

we didn't get to ride any rides because Emma fell asleep..so we came home.

Saturday was so nice we had a picnic at the park, fed the ducks, and played!

O, how Emma likes to be outside!

Then Tuesday came!

sweet sweet girl-we woke her up and told her to look out the window and she asked

"where's the snowman?"

I did manage to take a few pictures of the progress we've made in Bubbies room~

I love the bedding and the darkness of the bed

ahhh contentment it's so nice

I am really happy with how the dresser turned out too! We have a few finishing touches but other then that and the rest of the knobs it's done!

I decided to go with star knobs-they were a lot cheaper then the other ones I was looking at.

I can't wait to get the lamp finished and all the other decor~

Well we did get some things accomplished this weekend! I got a bed, and we finished the dresser-minus the six knobs I need Hobby Lobby to order.

My house is still a mess but I guess one of these days I will get it clean!

Little E's room has been painted, we are working on finishing his dresser(painting it barn red of coarse) and here are the knobs I have been looking at~

Here is another one of my favorite pictures from Christmas-

she and Bubby got Growing up a Country Girl and Country Boy books from Santa-she loves to look at the pictures, and tell us what she see's.

I also thought I would record some of the things she is doing and saying right now(mainly for me)

she is so loving and sweet but sometimes aunry

she looks forward to going to church to see her friends and Jesus- we ask her in the car who we are going to see-she names her friends and Jesus so sweet!

she wants to dress herself and put her shoes on-she does pretty good most of the time.

she has been very clinging with me lately I think she knows there is a change coming!

she kisses and talked to Bubby every night and tells him to come play.

she plays school and hands out papers to her friends by name.

still a pretty good eater.

if she scratches or bumps me she puts her hand on my cheek and says "I sorry Mommy" melts my heart!

when she hears Daddy's truck pull up she says Daddy's home.

she is wonderful to her babies and takes such a good care of them.

she cooks wonderful food in her kitchen and loves for us to eat and drink coffee and will tell you "not touch Mommy Hot!"

we are still watching a lot of Elmo, Woody, and Nemo(thanks to Uncle Landon getting us some new movies to watch)

we are so blessed to have such a sweet loving baby girl and pray Bubby will be the same~
she held Tristen and now wants to hold the babies at church~ last night we were looking at Jaxon and she said "I want to hold it."
