Not for Granted~

As I sit at my desk at work I hear a very loud elderly woman(92 to be exact) talking to her daughter.  As they talk the mother asks her how all of her doctors appointments have been going and what body parts they are for, ect. as time goes on the daughter is getting irritated and tells her mother they can talk about this later.  The little lady told her well I don't get to see you very often so I thought we could talk about it now.  O how I feel so sorry for this little lady and hope the daughter doesn't regret not seeing and hearing her mothers stories!

I know this past year many many times we all have thought about my Nannie and wonder what she would say or do for certain situations.  I have thought a lot about her the last couple of days.  Who knows why, she just pops in my head.  Some things are funny  and others are sad-O how we miss her.  I am so glad I made time to visit with her even though sometimes I felt I had other things to do.  Really what other things are better or more important than spending time with our elders.
